Experienced Conveyancing Assistant
We are a well-established, family-run law firm seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our busy and friendly conveyancing department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in residential conveyancing who wants to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment. You will provide day-to-day assistance to our conveyancing team, managing a varied workload and supporting the progression of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
What you’ll do
- Support the conveyancing team throughout the key stages of residential property transactions.
- Prepare routine correspondence, forms and documents under appropriate supervision.
- Maintain accurate matter records and keep the case-management system up to date.
- Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, solicitors and other parties.
- Monitor outstanding information, documents, tasks and key dates.
- Help the team maintain clear communication and steady progress across its caseload.
- Provide general administrative and file support as required.
What we’re looking for
- A minimum of two years’ experience working within a conveyancing department.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional and client-focused approach.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
- The ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a team.
